Snam is involved in the regulated transportation, storage and distribution of natural gas and the regasification of liquefied natural gas (LNG). These activities are carried out through its integrated infrastructure in Italy.
The parent company Snam Rete Gas S.p.A. (Snam S.p.A. from 1 January 2012) is an Italian company listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, with its registered office at Piazza Santa Barbara 7, San Donato Milanese (MI). It is controlled by Eni S.p.A., which holds 52.53% of the share capital.
