Investments during the period amounted to €360 million5 (€334 million in the first half of 2013) and mainly refer to the natural gas transportation (€238 million) and storage (€117 million) business segments.
Other changes (+€23 million) relate essentially to: (i) revised estimates of the cost of withdrawal from and restoration of natural gas storage sites (+€21 million), owing to lower expected discount rates; (ii) the change in the stock of pipes purchased for investment and not yet employed in the construction of plants (+€14 million); and (iii) grants for the period (-€12 million).
