Current income tax assets of €48 million (€15 million at 31 December 2013) relate mainly to: (i) higher IRES payments on account in relation to the national tax consolidation scheme (€15 million); (ii) receivables for higher advance tax payments made in relation to additional IRES (€14 million); and (iii) IRAP receivables (€13 million).
Other current tax assets of €10 million (€8 million at 31 December 2013) refer essentially to stamp duty refund requests made to the tax authorities (€5 million).
Other current tax liabilities of €20 million (€47 million at 31 December 2013) mainly relate to IRPEF (personal income tax) withholdings for employees (€13 million) and VAT payables (€6 million).
